David
S. George, M.D.
Dr. George was raised in Marietta, Ohio. He has enjoyed returning to his native area to practice ophthalmology.
Dr. George received his medical degree from The Ohio State University College of Medicine. He completed his internship at Riverside Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. Subsequently, he received his ophthalmology training at The Ohio State University College of Medicine.
Dr. George is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and a member of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery and the International Society of Refractive Surgery. He is a member of the board of directors for the Ambulatory Surgery Center Association (ASCA) and the Outpatient Ophthalmic Surgery Society (OOSS).
His special interests include refractive surgery (LASIK and PRK), cataract surgery (including deluxe presbyopia-correcting implants), glaucoma and diabetic eye care. Dr. George began doing refractive surgery in 1999 and has recently introduced the option of wavefront technology for patients in the mid-Ohio Valley.

Scott H. Strickler, M.D.
Dr. Strickler is a native of Williamstown, WV.
He attended West Virginia Wesleyan. His Medical School training was at
West Virginia University College of Medicine where he was Vice-President
of Alpha Omega Alpha, an organization reserved for those in the top ten
percent of their medical school class.
He completed his internship at Riverside Hospital in Columbus,
Ohio. He received his ophthalmology training at The Ohio State University
College of Medicine.
Dr. Strickler is board certified by the American
Board of Ophthalmology. He is a fellow of the American
Academy of Ophthalmology and a member of the American
Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery.
Dr. Strickler's special interests include topical
cataract surgery and glaucoma
and diabetic eye care.

Zane P. Lazer, M.D.
Dr. Zane Lazer was born and raised in the Shenandoah
Valley of Virginia. He started college at age 16 and graduated from the
University of Virginia School of Medicine. He completed his ophthalmology
training at the prestigious Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York.
Dr. Lazer is a member of the American
Academy of Ophthalmology and the American
Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery. He is board certified
by the American Board of Ophthalmology.
He joined The Eye MDs in 1999. His special interests include
laser eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty),
and topical cataract surgery.
